Obituary
Mrs. Debra O. Strickland, 68, of 7110 Elrod Road Rowland, NC was born on May 22, 1953 to the late Mr. Daniel Wesley "Bootie" Oxendine and Mrs. Alaine Hunt Oxendine. She departed her earthly home on Monday, April 4, 2022. Debra was a hardworking woman who devoted her life to her family. Her passion was shopping and assuring her customers left the beauty shop feeling absolutely fabulous.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her loving husband of 41 years, Harry Dean Strickland; a grandson, Austin O'ryan Strickland; and a sister, Dorothy "Dot" Carter.
Mrs. Debra leaves to cherish her memories, her son, Stephen O'Ryan Strickland (Melissa); one grandson, Ayden Hunter Strickland; one granddaughter, Taylor Bartley (Coleman); one brother, Darwin Oxendine; two special nephews, Lannes D. Carter, Jr. (Tammy) and Michael Carter (Victoria); along with a host of relatives and friends.
