David Lee Simmons, age 64, of 10367 South Chicken Road, Fairmont, NC, 28340 passed away on October 17, 2025. He was born in Lumberton, NC on November 28, 1960, and attended Fairmont High School. He worked as a farmer.

David is preceded in death by his adopted Mother, Linelle Simmons, Father, Richard Simmons, and maternal parents, Janie and Wilber Grimsley, Terry Grimsley, and Trudy Batton.

Left to cherish his memories are his sister, Jean McRae and brother, Earl Grimsley, adopted sister, Joyce Ann Simmons, and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
