Mr. David Ray Harding (Dave) was born in Lumberton, North Carolina on August 3, 1957 to the late Lance and Maxine Harding. David entered Heaven’s gates on Monday, March 31, 2025. Dave was a dedicated employee at Graphic Packaging for over 30 years. He was a devoted brother, son, uncle and friend. Dave had an unparalleled passion for cars, finding joy in every rev of the engine and the thrill of the open road. His love for automobiles was matched only by his unwavering dedication to his family. He cherished every moment spent with loved ones, creating lasting memories filled with laughter and adventure. Whether sharing a Sunday drive or a quiet evening at home, his warmth and kindness touched everyone around him. Dave will be remembered not just for his love of cars but for the love he shared with his family and those fortunate enough to know him. He leaves behind a legacy of passion, joy, and family devotion that will forever remain in our hearts. Rest in peace, dear brother; you will be missed beyond words. Dave was proceeded in death by his father & mother: Lance Sr. and Maxine Harding; two brothers, Hilton Hardin, James Dallas Harding Sr. and a brother-in law, William Hunt. Dave is survived by his siblings; Lance Harding Jr and wife Jackie, Naomi Jacobs and husband Daniel, Donald Ray Hardin, Richard Neal Harding, Sam Hardin and wife Connie, Annette Hunt, and Randy Hardin; 9 Nephews, 9 Nieces, 24 Great Nieces, 16 great Nephews, 8 Great-Great Nieces & Nephews and a special caregiver Chasity (CHAT) Strickland.
