David Blue Obituary
Mr. David Lyle Blue of 456 Shand Drive Pembroke was born on February 16, 1953 and gained his wings January 6, 2021 at UNC Health Southeastern completing his journey of 67 years.
He is preceded in death by his parents Evander Dougle Blue and Mary Chavis Blue and a son Lacoma Lee Locklear.
David leaves behind to cherish his memory, a loving wife of 26 years Jeanette Blue; two daughters, Robin Richardson of Lumberton and Renee (Brian) Dial of Pembroke; three sons, David Eric (Armida) Blue of Texas, David Evan (Elaine) Blue of Virginia, and Anthony (Beth) Locklear; 8 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild; cherishing his memory also are his six brothers, Rev. Vernell Blue, Neil Blue, Lynell Blue, Lester Ray Blue, Eddie Blue, and Michael Blue; seven sisters, Evelyn Scott, Dorothy Blue Lambert, Cathy King, Debbie Emanuel, Betty Strader, Mary Ann Lowery, and Diane Brooks; he also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, and coworkers to carry on his story.
