Dasean Layton Cummings (Dada) of Lumberton N.C., age 20, was born October 31 2005. Dasean was a hard-working family man, loved his video game and just enjoyed life. He graduated from Lumberton Senior High. He departed this life on November 19, 2025 at home.

He is preceded in death by his grandmother Lisa Ann Bartley and grandfather Donnie Lee Cummings.

He is survived by his two mothers Lucindia Mae Cummings and Jan Carol Willoughby and his father Hubert Jones, two sisters, Lisa Marie Cummings and Angie Mae Adwell. two aunts, two uncles and a special cousin (Floss), a brother from another mother, Elisha Sanchez and a host of family and friends.
