Obituary
Danny Ray Hunt "The Baby" was born August 1, 1963 to the late Marion and Martha Jane Hunt. He departed this life on Sunday, April 24, 2022 at UNC Health.
He is preceded in death by his siblings James Jones, Cardell Hunt, Robert Hunt, Bobby Hunt, Larry Hunt, Samuel Hunt, Howard 'Scoopy' Hunt, and Marsha Hunt.
Danny was survived by his girlfriend of 15 years Nina Doster; two daughters Chelsey Hunt of Fayetteville and Kenya Hunt of Pembroke; a granddaughter Zuri Thatcher; one brother Needham Hunt; and two sisters Georgianna Jacobs and Debra Hunt, all of Pembroke. He is also survived by a gang of nieces and nephews who he loved with all of his heart.
Danny was a professional sheetrock hanger for 30 plus years. He even hung it in his sleep. He was a one of a kind person and loved to race anyone. He loved speed driving. He was also a folk artist, and could create anything out of nothing. He will be missed and LOVED forever!
