Mrs. Crettie Lois Bell, 91, of 85 Rennert Road died Thursday, January 30, 2025, at her home. Mrs. Bell was born in Robeson County on September 5, 1933, to the late Maggie and Haywood Locklear. She is preceded in death by her husband, Willie Bell, Sr., a daughter Margaret Bell; a grandson, Rodney Bell and two great-granddaughters, Beth Ann Bell and Serenity Jade Locklear, three brothers, Wilbert "Buddy" Locklear, Johnny Locklear and Clinton Locklear and six sisters, Shelby Brayboy, Mildred Locklear, Eutice Locklear, Clara Brayboy, Geneva Brayboy, Nettie Jones;
She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt. She loved her family, and she loved the Lord. She lived an amazing, beautiful life surrounded by her family and friends who will treasure those special memories of her beautiful life.
She is survived by her children: Willie Bell, Jr. (Janice), Mary Lowery, Johnny Bell and special friend Josephine, Debra Hammonds (Blake), Denise Hammonds (Phillip), Wayne Bell (Phyllis), Jennifer Bell (Randy Hunt), Felicia Bell, Alice Bell (Craig McMillan) and Windell Bell (Whitney); a sister, Thelma Evans, twenty-six grandchildren, fifty-eight great-grandchildren, thirty-four great-great grandchildren, and a host of relatives and friends.
