Comoleda Barnes Davis, a beloved resident of Fairmont, NC, peacefully completed her life's journey on March 30, 2025, at Harborview in Lumberton, NC. Born on February 28, 1941, she was cherished as a daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, and friend.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Cleveland and Anna Jacobs Barnes, her stepmother, Addie Mae Barnes, her brother, Larry Barnes, her daughter, Patricia Dimery Oxendine (Randy), and her devoted husband, Tom Davis.

Left to cherish her life and carry on her memory are, her daughter, Deborah (Phil) Locklear of Red Springs, her brother, Gene Barnes (Linda) of Virginia, her sister, Laruth Locklear (Wayne) of Lumberton, five grandchildren, one great-grandchild, as well as four special nieces and four dear nephews. She also leaves behind a host of extended family members and friends who adored her deeply.

Comoleda found immense joy in working in her yard, especially caring for her flowers, which was a testament to her vibrant spirit. She cherished time spent with her family and friends, and her faith was central to her life. She was a devoted member of Reedy Branch Baptist Church. She will be greatly missed and lovingly remembered.
