Clara Suggs Obituary
Clara Suggs, age 85, daughter of the late, Clarence and Lessie Young; was born March 8th, 1935. She departed this life on September 30th, 2020.
Clara attended school in Clarkton, NC after moving to Lumberton, she’d sit with the elderly and babysit for a lot of working mothers.
Clara was preceded in death by her husband, Sandy Suggs; son, Frank Suggs; daughter, Wanda Colvin; sister, Lena Branch (Sam); brothers, Cleo Young, Clarence Young, Samuel Young, Linwood Young and Odell Young.
She leaves to cherish her memory daughters, Arletha Robinson, Lisa Suggs; sons, Sandy Suggs Jr., John Roberts Suggs (Patricia), Michael Suggs (Felicia), Lee Suggs, Alongo Suggs of Shannon, NC; brothers, Fletcher Young Lisbon, NC, Julian Young (Ernestine) Rochester, NY; brother-in-law, Samuel Branch, Lumberton, NC; fifteen grandchildren, twenty one great grandchildren, three great-great grandchildren, special nieces, Sharon Branch, Sheila Faulk, Anita Branch; special thanks to niece, Janet Branch; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
