Clara Lisa Brooks, 51, who was known to many as Lisa, of 53 Ethel Drive, Lumberton, NC, was born on June 28, 1974, to Michael Sampson and Teresa Brooks. She departed this life on November 7, 2025, at Morrison Manor Hospice House in Laurinburg, NC.

She was preceded in death by her father, Michael Sampson, her grandparents J.C. Brooks and Clara Mae Taylor, who was known as her mother, her brothers, John C. Brooks, Jerry Brooks, and Raven Sampson (Cowboy).

She is survived by her husband, Blanton Rogers, four brothers, Deangles Locklear (Lawana), Anthony Brooks (Jan), Dwight Brooks (Carol), Patrick Brooks (Ashleigh), five sisters, Lisa Oxendine, Candice Sampson, Courtney Sampson, Lola Deese (Terry), Sonya Murray (Tim), four children, Shawn Brooks (Savannah) of Lumberton, NC, Miranda Rogers, her fiancé, Naaman Owens, Jr, of Lumberton, NC, Lula Mae Rogers of Pembroke, NC, Lisa Brooks of Lumberton, NC, four bonus children, Angel Locklear of Lumberton, NC, Hope Hull of Lumberton, NC, Austin Locklear of Red Springs, NC, Isaac Nesby of Red Springs, NC, five grandchildren who she loved dearly, Airanizzia Rogers, Malani Rogers, Colton Brooks, Riya Brooks, Stormie Brooks.

Lisa deeply cherished her Ma Mattie and William Lacy, her two favorite nieces, Amy Thompson, and Miranda Deese, and a host of relatives and friends. She loved fishing and spoiling her grandchildren. They were her babies.
