Charles Lynn Jones

Mr. Charles Lynn Jones, 75, of Pembroke was born January 21st, 1949, to the late Mr. Herbert and Zora Mae Jones (Bullard). Mr. Charles entered into his heavenly home on April 9th, 2024. He was preceded in death by his sister: Ms. Wanda Jones and his nephew: Mr. Terry Brayboy.

Mr. Jones leaves to cherish his wife of 42 years, Mrs. Helen Faye Jones. Mr. Jones is survived by his five children: Charles Forrest Jones and Aaron O’Briant both of the home, Mr. Steven Foster Jones (Carissa) and Ethan O’Briant (Lindette), both of Pembroke and Ms. Wendy O’Briant of Lumberton. Mr. Jones was also survived by three stepchildren: Sherry Beatty (John) of Florida, Melanie Shirley (Tony) of South Carolina and William O’Briant of Tennesse.

Mr. Charles was the brother to three wonderful sisters. He was survived by Frances Strickland (Jimmy) and Linda Brayboy, both of Rowland. He was also survived by twelve grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, along with seven nephews and one niece.

Mr. Charles loved the Lord and was a faithful member at the Pentecostal Church of Christ. He will be truly missed by friends and family. A special thanks to Ms. Wendy O’Briant from the family.
