Charles Reed Goins, 62, of Hiawatha Road, Pembroke, was born in Sebring, FL on March 20, 1960. He made his heavenly flight on June 24, 2022, with his wife by his side. Charles was an avid fisherman and hunter. Even through his extended illness, he continued to find fulfillment by working in his garden to provide for his family. Charles was a former employee of Campbell Soup as well as a skilled mason by trade and the owner/operator of Goins Masonry. Charles was a member of Burnt Swamp Baptist Church where he loved his church family.
He was preceded in death by his mother Norma Ruth Williams Goins; maternal grandparents, Albry and Anne Bell Williams; paternal grandparents, Daniel, and Flowers Goins; and granddaughter Baby Jane Goins.
He leaves to cherish his memories his wife of 40 years, Linda Faye Scott Goins of the home, three sons, Matthew (Jessica) Goins, Andrew (Megan) Goins, and Elliott Goins all of Pembroke; the joy of his life, his granddaughter, Zarah Goins of Pembroke; his father Manning Reed Goins of Lumberton; three brothers, Daniel Goins of Lumberton, David (Teresa) Goins of Lumberton, Daryl (Tammy) Goins of Raeford; three sisters, Catherine (Ramon) Santiago, Patricia (Nathan) Norris, Lisa (Darrell) Oxendine all of Lumberton and a host of extended family and friends.
