Obituary

   Ms. Carrie Nelda Chavis, 86, entered her Heavenly home on Monday, June 6th, 2022, while surrounded by her family.

   Ms. Carrie was preceded in death by her parents, Stinson, and Leola Sampson Revels; her husband, Simone Chavis (Buck); two sons, Matthew Chavis and William Anthony Chavis and two brothers, John C. Revels and Chandler Revels.

   Ms. Carrie is survived by her sister, Linda Locklear (Ervin) of Lumberton; a daughter, Diane Hardin (Cliff) of Lumberton; a son, Geronimo Chavis of Pembroke; a granddaughter, Shawnee S. Hardin of Lumberton; two grandsons, Cochise Chavis (Crystal) of Maxton and William Chavis (Kayla) of Fayetteville; eight great grandchildren and a host of other family and friends. Ms. Carrie enjoyed spending time with her family and traveling with her sister, Linda. She liked doing yard work and loved her dogs. She was also fond f red lipstick, jewelry, and watches.
