Carol Denise Bartlomei, 57, of Laurinburg, formerly of Pembroke, passed away on May 5, 2026, at 7:59 a.m. at Southeastern Regional Medical Center. Carol was born on February 16, 1969.

She was preceded in death by her father, David Locklear; her siblings, David Anthony Locklear and Melanie Locklear; and her stepson, Rocky. She leaves behind her mother, Bernice Locklear.

Carol is survived by her husband, Guy “Butch” Bartlomei; her daughters, Cortney and Dominique; and her son, Anthony “Zack.” She also leaves behind her grandchildren, Haylee, Guiliana, Isabella, Lilianna, Uriah, Jayla, Mekhi, J’Nayah, and Mylan, along with one great-grandchild, Aurora.

Carol dedicated 16 years of her life serving her community as a respiratory therapist. She was known for caring deeply for others and always being willing to help those in need. Above all, Carol loved her family and cherished the time she spent with them.
