Candace Lynn Stidham, age 52, passed away suddenly July 8, 2025 at her home in Lumberton, NC.

Born in Quantico, VA, June 5, 1973 to John MacNutt and Stephanie Dittrick.

Candace leaves behind her devoted and loving husband of 19 years, Jonathan W. R. Stidham (aka Popeye), their daughter, Abigail Rose Blue (husband – Joel), their grandson, Weston Ray Blue, all of Lumberton, and her son, Andrew Olson of Vail, Arizona, her father, John MacNutt (wife – Thyra) of Greendale, AZ, her mother, Stephanie Dittrick of Lumberton, NC, her brother, Christopher MacNutt of Fort Myers, FL, her uncle Arthur MacNutt, Jr, and Aunt Elizabeth Hayes and thousands of other friends and family worldwide

Preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Arthur and Dorothy MacNutt, her maternal grandmother Rose Dittrick.

Candace, being of the Christian faith, leaves behind a legacy of her love for God. She showed kindness, generosity, deep love for her family and friends. “She literally never met a stranger!” She had a really big heart and of pure gold, with a big smile to go with it. She was always a people and animal person! She loved kids…always helped with Vacation Bible School, Bible Time Release Classes, part of Camp Grace with Pastor Gary Rowe. Loved butterflies and hummingbirds.

Candace was the owner of Agape Tile, LLC, an amazing artist. She was such a loving, caring, big hearted mother, wife, friend. She is and will be deeply missed. We should all strive to be more like Candace.
