Brent Miller Obituary
Brent Tipton Miller, 78, was born on February 13, 1945, in Detroit, Michigan and passed away peacefully on January 23, 2024 in Laurinburg, North Carolina. He was surrounded by his wife, Talana Miller of 28 years, and special friend Carmen Dietrich. He is preceded in death by his parents, Glen and Helen F Miller, and his sister, Julie Jordan.
Brent is survived to cherish his memories by his wife Talana, step-son Micah Wells, his wife Onekie and their 4 children, Angel, Mya, Brianna, and Paul, and step-son Marcus Wells, his wife Jenine, and their daughter Keeleigh. In addition, he will be missed by a long list of friends and family, including his best friend, Basil Tippette.
Brent spent his early years in Detroit, Michigan, until moving to Granville Ohio to attend Denison
University. He later moved to North Carolina and spent many years in banking, ending his first career as a Trust Officer for Southern National Bank in Raleigh, North Carolina. His second career was spent as owner and operator of MTB Flooring located in Raleigh, Noth Carolina. He was a lifelong devoted Detroit Lions and Michigan Wolverines fan.
Brent and Talana enjoyed retirement while in Raleigh, until moving to Pembroke, North Carolina two years ago, where they attend Harper’s Ferry Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers, the family asked for donations to be made to the SPCA of Wake County or theDementia Alliance of North Carolina
