Mrs. Bobbie Ann Revels, age 70 of 405 Fifth Street Pembroke, NC was born August 19, 1954 to Ronald Locklear and Myrtle Brayboy in Laurinburg, NC. She departed this life and ascended to glory on Friday, August 15, 2025.  She was preceded in death by both parents Ronald Locklear and Myrtle Brayboy, brother Fredrick Dial, sister Doris Dial, and maternal grandparents Dennis and Willow Brayboy.

The funeral will begin at 3pm Tuesday, August 19, 2025 at Mt. Hebron Holiness Church with Rev. Kerry Revels and Rev. Fredrick Locklear officiating.  The family will receive friends and family from 2pm to 3pm.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery immediately after the funeral service.

Mrs. Bobbie Ann was a graduate of UNC Pembroke and a retired employee of the Public Schools of Robeson County.  She spent a lifetime of making precious memories with friends and family, providing countless delicious meals for those she loved.  Most evenings, you could find her working in her flower beds, and collecting fresh flowers for the dinner table. Salt water fishing by boat at Holden Beach, NC with her best friend/husband Gary was a favorite past time she would enjoy every chance she got. Her husband, her children, and grandchildren were her whole world.  She enjoyed every moment spent with them and very seldom would she say “no” to them...especially to Kerry, Connor, and Walker! Mrs. Bobbie Ann was a mother to so many and enjoyed loving and teaching children while she worked at Pembroke Elementary School.  She attended Mt. Hebron Holiness Church and committed herself to her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ early in her life. She loved her huge Brayboy family, and often visited them on Sundays. Her gentle and loving spirit has poured into many lives through the years and has left a lasting impression for all to follow. She will be remembered for her beautiful, radiant smile and her loving heart.

She leaves to cherish her precious memories, her husband of 54 years: Gary Lynn Revels, a son: Mr. Kerry Revels (wife Annette), two daughters: Wilena Revels Chavis and Fredena Revels, three grandchildren: Connor Chavis, Walker Chavis, and Katen Willow Chavis, and a host of relatives and friends.
