Ms. Blanquitta (Cheeta) Miller age 78 was born on April 8, 1943 to the late Mr. Vardell Miller and the late Mrs. Helen Miller in Robeson County, North Carolina. She departed this life to her eternal home on September 6, 2021 at Scotland Memorial Hospital in Laurinburg, North Carolina. Along with her parents she was also preceded in death by her grandparents Edmund and Ila Mae Lowery, the father of her children O’neal Oxendine, one son Ryan O’neal, grandson Aaron Blue, a great-grandchild Baby Locklear, two sisters Mrs. Judith Jernigan and Ms. Angelia Clark Hunt, one nephew Raymond Vardell Clark, and a niece Danielle Clark Allen.
Blanquitta was a loving mother, grandma, great-grandma, sister, aunt, and friend. She worked at Converse and Dials family home where she was loved by all patients.
Ms. Blanquitta Miller leaves to cherish her memories her children: Mrs. Theresa Bullard (Charles) of Maxton, NC, Mrs. Helen Lynn Blue (Yon), Pastor Christopher Miller (Michelle), Ms. Crystal Miller, Ms. Scarlett Miller all of Pembroke, NC, Mrs. Charlie Miller Locklear (Sterling) of Maxton, NC, one sister Ms. Wanda Miller Locklear of Laurinburg, NC. She also had 14 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren, her puppy Sadie, several nieces and nephews along with a host of loved ones and friends.
Visitation will be held on September 11th from 7-9 pm at Revels Funeral Home in Pembroke, NC. Funeral services will be held on September 12th at Union Chapel Holiness Methodist Church in Pembroke, NC. Burial will follow at the Blanquitta Miller and Family Cemetery at the home.
