Billy Jenkins Obituary
Billy Jenkins, 68, passed away on Saturday, October 25, 2025 at UNC Southeastern Hospital in Lumberton, NC.
Billy is preceded in death by his parents, Nash Jenkins and Joyce Jenkins Rising, his sister, Brenda Jenkins Baxley and his wife, Vicky Pope Jenkins.
Billy is survived by a daughter, Alisha (Kesha) Jenkins, a son, Billy Matthew Jenkins a granddaughter, Kailey Jenkins, his estranged wife, Diane Jenkins, three brothers, Kenneth Paul Jenkins, Aubrey Nash Jenkins and Johnny Jenkins, all of Lumberton, a sister, Judy Gayle Belder of Fayetteville, an Aunt Faye Johnson of Lumberton, and a multitude of nieces and nephews.
Billy was a person of very few words. He was an avid sports fan who especially enjoyed watching NC State games and NASCAR races. His favorite driver was Dale Earnhardt. Billy also loved baseball and played various sports throughout his childhood, including football and baseball. In addition to his love for sports, he enjoyed fishing, gardening, and spending time outdoors.
