Betty McLamb

It is with great sadness that the family announces, Betty Lou Richardson McLamb, departed her earthly home and entered her eternal home on January 18th, 2022, at the age of 84.

Our beloved, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend.

She will be lovingly remembered by her daughter, Teresa Cooper Chavis, of Lumberton, NC, her grandchildren, Dan Cooper, and wife Tammy, of Leland, NC, Phillip Cooper, and wife Melissa, of Hope Mills, NC, great-grandchildren, Amber Cooper, Caleb Cooper and Kelly Price and great great-grandchild, Bentley Price; Sisters, Gail Allen (Vernon) of Lumberton, NC, Margaret Cox of Lumberton, NC, Irene Britt of McDonald, NC, and Pat Hedgpeth (Johnnie) of Fairmont, NC and a sister-in-law Nellie Mae Richardson of Lumberton, NC.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 60 years, Carl P McLamb; daughter, Gwen Tyner, son, Karlo MacLamb, brothers, Gene Richardson and Ray Richardson, sisters, Pauline Barfield, and Peggy Edmund; and her parents Boyd and Mary Richardson.
