Betty Lowry Obituary
Miss Betty Lowry, 87, of Pembroke was born on June 22nd, 1936 and she entered her heavenly home on April 14th, 2024. She was the daughter of Lilly Mae Lowry and Johnson Locklear. Miss Lowry was a resident of Greenbrier ALF in Fairmont, NC and passed away at Morrison Manor Hospice Home surrounded by family.
She was preceded in death by her mother Ms. Lilly Mae Lowry and father Mr. Johnson Locklear. She is survived by one son: Mr. Jody Lynn Lowry of the home, brothers: Virgil Lowry (Lena) of Pembroke, NC, John Albert Locklear (Phoda) of Pembroke, NC and Johnson Junior Locklear (Doris) of Pembroke, special niece: Mrs. Felisha Lowry Strickland (James), special nephew: Michael Lowry, special friend: Elisa Oxendine and several nieces and nephews.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to Morrison Manor, Gentiva Hospice, Greenbrier ALF, and Nurse Tammy Jones.
