Betty Locklear Obituary
Mrs. Betty Lois Locklear, 86, of Gene’s Road Pembroke was born November 25, 1934 married to Mr. Hubert Lee Locklear. She left her earthly home to be in her heavenly home on February 26, 2021. She was preceded in death by her mother, Sara Lowry and daughter, Betty Jane Lowry.
Mrs. Betty Lois Locklear is survived by her husband of 57 years, Mr. Hubert Lee Locklear; two sons, Ricky Lowry of Red Hill Road Maxton, NC and Braxton Jr. Locklear of Evergreen Church Road Pembroke, NC; she had three daughters, Beatris Locklear Sanderson of Pembroke and Topeka Candy of Rowland; 15 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren; three special friends, Phyliss Revels, Felisha, and Jane; along with a host of other relatives and friends.
Mrs. Betty loved working in her flower beds and loved her family very much also her church family. Her passion was taking care of the elders and her community. She was a faithful Christian, and she was always surrounded by love.
