Little River, SC - Mrs. Betty Lou Burns Kilroy, 89, of 2214 Ainsley Dr, Little River, SC went to her heavenly home on April 4, 2025, at home surrounded by her family.
She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She will be missed by all that knew and loved her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Reverend Rufus and Avery Burns and seven brothers, Grant Burns, Ernest "Sam" Burns, Rufus "Goodson" Burns, Jr., Rev. OJ Burns, Rev Joseph Burns, Rev Bobby Burns and Delton Burns, three sisters, Maggie Oxendine, Mary Cleveland, and Lillian McKenzie. She is also preceded by two sons, Donald Ray Hunt, and Gary Wayne Hunt and a daughter, Betty Fay Revels, as well as one grand-daughter Lashana Revels.
Betty Kilroy is survived by her husband and soul mate of 53 years, John Francis Kilroy, her caring daughter, Lorna Kelly Stuck (Doug) and two brothers, Stanford "Teat" Burns (Sheila) and Grantford Burns Oxendine (Cathy), daughter-in-law, Renée Hunt, five grandsons Rashann Hunt, Akio Hunt, Robert Locklear, Matthew Pierre Boulais and John Hunt and four grand-daughters Natalie Locklear, Dajuana Revels, Sarah Kelly and Miranda Hunt, twelve great-grandchildren, numerous great-great grandchildren, as well as a host of beloved nephews, nieces and extended family.
