Betty Lois Jacobs

   Ms. Betty Lois Jacobs, a beloved mother, wife, sister, aunt, grandmother and great-grandmother passed away peacefully at home on November 16th at the ages of 82. She was born on April 28, 1941in Pembroke, NC to the late Valdosta and Elmer Locklear. She built a life filled with love, compassion and cherished memories.

   Betty Lois was devoted family women, deeply committed to her late husband, Lacy Jacobs. Betty Lois and Lacy shared four children; three sons, the late Timmy Jacobs , Shelia Jacobs, Gary Jacobs (Dawn) and David Jacobs. Ms. Betty Lois left behind seven grandchildren, Timothy Jacobs, Jeremy Jacobs (Dajuana), Marcus Locklear (Shannon), Magon Jacobs, Adam Jacobs of Pembroke, NC and Majors Jacobs of Clinton, NC; including the late Kyva Locklear, with a total of eight-greatgrandchildren; one brother, Dostia Locklear, Jr.(Verdie); sisters, Suzzane Chavis (the late Ralph) and Kim Ivey both of Pembroke, NC. Special granddaughter, Jerenna Jacobs Revels; special nieces, Tisha Lewis, Elory Locklear, Crystal Chavis, Ette Holden; special friends, Glenda McNeill, Sandra Jacobs, Monnie Scott and Pam Koss.
