Barbara Jacobs Obituary
Barbara Jean Jacobs, 77, was born on April 21, 1944 to the late Mr. John and Pattie Chavis of Maxton, NC. She departed her earthly home in exchange for a Heavenly home Friday July 16, 2021 at First Health Moore Regional Hospital in Pinehurst, NC.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Wilbert Jacobs of 48 years; her parents; a sister, Savannah Brewer; three brothers, Richard Chavis, Harland Chavis, and Clement Chavis.
She is survived by two daughters, Stephanie Clark (Chris) and Patrice Jacobs; two sons, Audie R. Jacobs and Aubrey Jacobs all of Maxton; six grandchildren, Alisha Wright (Brandon, Patience S. Locklear (Ethan), Pattie A. Jacobs, Adrian Jacobs, Audie R. Jacobs Jr. and Shanda C. Jacobs; ten great grandchildren, Trinity Wright, Brannigan Wright, Eternity Wright, Serenity Wright, Bryson Locklear, Brylon Locklear, Nadah Locklear, Donavan Strickland, Kinzleigh Wyland and Sophia Jacobs; she is also survived by three brothers, Horace (Linda) Chavis, Harold (Valerie) Chavis, and Sonier Chavis all of Maxton, NC ; along with a host of other relatives and friends.
