Audrey Lee Jacobs

    Mrs. Audrey Lee Jacobs of Pembroke, NC was born November 6th, 1956 and completed her journey of 65 years on Thursday, January 13th, 2022.

    She was preceded in death by her husband Grady Jacobs; her parents, Boyd and Ila Strickland; a sister, Belvie Davis; and a son-in-law, Timothy Bell.

    Audrey leaves to cherish her memories her siblings, Daniel Strickland (Daphine) of Greensboro, NC, Harvey Strickland (Mary Catherine), Shand Strickland (Girlane), Ronnie Strickland (Carol), William Strickland (Mary Faye), Jeanette Strickland (David), Lisa Lowery (Nelson), all of Pembroke, and Shelby Gibson (Pinky) of Cheraw, SC; her children, Aubrey Jacobs (Anita) of Lumberton, Tasha Bell (Tim) and Justin Jacobs, of the home; four grandchildren, Taner Jacobs, Tyler Jacobs, Mya Barnes and Jada Barnes; and a hos t of extended family and friends.

     Audrey lived a fulfilling life as a loving mother, a caring sister, an amazing wife, and a friend to many. She enjoyed cheering on the North Carolina Tar Heels during her spare time and she loved spending time with her family. Audrey was a woman that cannot be described in a few words. She was a hard worker, caring, giving, kindhearted, helpful, strong, and so much more. Audrey worked as a PCP (CNA) for 18 years with the Fresenius Kidney Care in Red Springs and Scotland County. We all Enjoyed hearing her talk about special moments with her patients. Those who truly knew her, loved her and will miss her presence, her laughter, and her courageousness. Forever in our hearts and our minds.
