She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Sallie and Zonnie Jacobs and her paternal grandparents, NeEssie and James Cas Pierce.

Ashley was a pre-school teacher at Scotts Daycare. The only thing she loved more than teaching and mentoring children was worshipping her Savior through song with her church family. Ashley was a devout Christian her entire life and faithfully served her Lord.
