Mr. Arnold Strickland, 90 of 1781 Snake Rd. Lumberton, departed this life to go home to meet his Lord and Savior on March 21, 2026, surrounded by his devoted family and friends at UNC Health Southeastern in Lumberton NC.
Arnold was born in Scotland County on August 27, 1935, to the late Jim and Manoma Strickland.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Mrs. Bonnie Strickland and four siblings, Stella Smith, Sally Mae Hunt, Jimmy Strickland, and Claude Strickland.
He leaves behind to cherish his memories five children, Danny Strickland (Cloanne), Cathy Grubb (Geoff), Vicki Hunt (Terry), Terri Haggins, and Billy Strickland (Christin) all of Lumberton, three siblings, Doris Locklear (John), AC Strickland (Rosalind), and Bobby Strickland all of Lumberton, nine grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren, seven great-great-grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends.
