April Lynn Cummings

Ms. April Lynn Cummings, 50, of 8091 Hwy 72 Pembroke, NC departed this life Friday, April 2, 2021. 

Ms. Cummings was born December 2, 1970 to Kennie Cummings and Kathryn June Maynor. She is preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Brencie and Velear Cummings and maternal grandfather, Herman Maynor.

She is survived by her father, Kennie Cummings (Donna) of Maxton, NC; mother, Kathryn June Maynor of Pembroke, NC; one grandmother, Rosa Maynor; four sons, Keith Oxendine Jr. (Bree), Cody Oxendine, Brandon Carter all of Pembroke, NC, and Christopher Herman Carter of Maxton, NC; one sister, Rachel Michelle Cummings of Pembroke, NC; one brother, Kenneth Jermaine Cummings (Amber); one step brother, Von Locklear (Pam) all of Maxton, NC; three grandsons, Keithan Oxendine, Madden Kai Oxendine, Dacota Oxendine; one granddaughter, Brinley Carter; one special niece, Sierra Cummings; and a host of other relatives and friends. 

April was a delightful mother and grandmother to her boys and grandchildren. She enjoyed spending time and making memories with her family. She was a certified nursing assistant who enjoyed taking care of others. April always had an infectious smile and welcoming presence. She leaves to cherish her memories all her family and friends.
