Anthony Lee Jacobs (Tony), age 66, of Lumberton, N.C. went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, February 3, 2026 in the comfort of his home.  Anthony was born October 24, 1959 in Columbus County, N.C. to the late Cletus Jones Jacobs.

In addition to his mother Cletus, he was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother Gladys Jones and his maternal great- grandmother Addie J. Locklear, his aunt Annie Ruth Jacobs and his brother Runnild “DeRonnie” Jacobs, his son, Eric Clint Hunt and a close friend Mr. Bill Smith.

He leaves to cherish his memories, two daughters, Courtney Leigh Jacobs (Craig) of Rowland, Whitney Morgan Jacobs (Tony) of Fairmont and a special daughter April Laynette Hunt (Pembroke), his fur son Jr. of the home, four granddaughters, Maliah Jacobs, Meya Leonard, Chloye Hunt, Miriyha Leonard, his Aunt Hilda Jones of New York and Aunt Bell Hannan of Bennettsville, SC, two special cousins Linda Locklear(Randy) of Lumberton, NC,  Betty Deese (Dean) of Maxton,  the mother of his daughters, Linda H. Jacobs of Fairmont, six of his lifelong friends, Jeff Fleming (Lena) of St. Pauls, Chris Welborne (Blanche) of Myrtle Beach, Harry Grissett of Rowland, Ricky Hardin (Lori) of Lumberton and Randy Britt of Lumberton, Tim Sirois of Myrtle Beach, SC,  and a special friend Victoria Hinds, and a host of family and friends that loved him dearly.
