Mr. Anthony Ray Floyd, 45, of Lumberton departed this life on Thursday, November 27, 2025 following an acute illness.

He is preceded in death by his father, Preston Ray Floyd, and his son Chase O’Bryan Chavis, both maternal and paternal grandparents, his uncles, Robert Chriscoe, David Prevatte, and a cousin, Kandida Criscoe.

Anthony is survived by his wife of 20 years, Candis Nicole Floyd, two children, Damien Ray Floyd and Briyanna Nicole Floyd, his mother, Laura Janice Britt, one sister, Rose Mary Floyd and a brother Aaron W. Britt, brother-in-law, David Williams (Sasha), sister-in-laws, Saundra and Leah, four nieces, Mook, Gabby, Angell, and Makyn, nine nephews, Mally, Nike, B-roni, Liam, Dom, Tannel, Fat-Back, Caleb and Chun, a host of cousins, his Aunt Lynn (Kent), Aunt Brenda, Aunt Annette, Aunt Thelma Lou, and his uncles, John, and Billy Speights (Julia).

Anthony loved his wife and children, his family and friends not to mention his birds…. And in his words, “I Love Ya, Son”.
