Annie Rether Hammonds, 90, of Rowland, NC departed this life for her heavenly home on September 4, 2021 at home.
She is preceded in death by her husband, James Wesley Hammonds; her parents, Abbie and Lily Mae Cummings; her son, Jimmy Hammonds; her daughter, Viola Marie Bledsole; her brothers, Wade Cummings and Abbie Cummings Jr.; and her sisters, Mamie Cummings and Corintha Hunt.
Annie leaves to cherish her memories her children, Mona Jacobs of Rowland, Peggy Hammonds of Red Springs, Michael Hammonds of Goldsboro, Jakie Hammonds of Laurinburg, and Ben Cummings of Florida; her brothers, Sam Cummings of the home and Nelson Cummings of Greensboro; 39 grandchildren, 40 great grandchildren, and 33 great great grandchildren; along with a host of family and friends.
