Annie Locklear Obituary
Mrs. Annie Lois Locklear born April 27, 1943 departed this life to get her new body on Sunday, May 23, 2021 at Scotland Memorial Hospital.
Annie was preceded in death by her parents, Lealer and Arthur Locklear; three sons, Anthony, Ray and Tyrone Locklear; several siblings; two grandsons, Adam Locklear and Joshua McKoy; one great grand, Hailey Connor.
Annie Lois leaves behind a husband of 63 years; sons, Arnold Locklear, twins Ronald and Donald Locklear of the home; daughters, Teresa (Robert) Connor, Wanda (Jerry) West, Carol Tossie all of Rowland, NC, Nicke Locklear of Lumberton, NC and Christy (Richard) Kuba of Maxton, NC; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.
Annie was known to many as Big Ma, Annie Lois, Mama and to husband as Gal and he was her Jobie. If you ever came in contact with her she would have you smiling, laughing and probably eating. Big Ma was known for her kind heart and her food most definitely. Overall to have met Annie, Big Ma, Annie Lois, Mama and Gal you would have been the blessed one. Last word from her husband, “baby I love you as long as I live”.
