On January 4, 2025, in her home, Mrs. Angela O. Kahn transitioned, surrounded by loving family and friends. Angela, born in Robeson County on October 19, 1965, was employed in multiple service fields and most recently retired from 18 years of service, as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with Womack Army Medical Center. Angela was the loving mother of Solomon Smith and “made the world a better place”. She attended New Beginning Worship Center in Dunn, North Carolina. 

She is preceded in death by her brother Eric Oxendine. She is survived by her son, Solomon, her husband, Jeffrey Kahn, mother, Linda O. Carter, father, Fred Oxendine, his spouse Lisa Oxendine, the family dog, Buddy, and many other family members and friends. In honor of Angela’s love for animals, the family asks that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to a zoo or aquarium of your choice.
