Obituary
Mr. Andre Carroll Carter “Dre”, 28, of Lumberton, NC was born on August 28th, 1994. Andre was a 2012 graduate of Lumberton Senior High. He completed his earthly journey on April 14th, 2023.
He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, William Bill Carter and Iris Laura Locklear, and maternal grandparents, Alton Clark, and Rosie Lee Brayboy Clark.
Andre is survived by his parents Mario Andre Carter of Tampa, Florida and Billy Joe Clark of Lumberton, NC; two brothers, Drew Cole Carter of Tampa, Florida and Keano Hughe Carter of Lumberton, NC; his beloved children Zane Lyle Turner, Gracie Mae Ivey, Kystahn Dre Carter, Khyzleigh Brielle Carter, Khys’ahlyn Sahleyene “Memphis Lee” Carter all of Lumberton, NC; and the mother of three of his children, Taylor Gabrielle Monroe.
Andre had a bright and energetic personality. He touched many lives with his generosity and passion for life. Besides spending time with family and friends, Andre loved playing baseball. He loved spreading the gospel. Andre knew he had a calling for ministry and every conversation never ended without words of encouragement, jokes, and a warm smile. Andre will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him
