Amanda C. Johnson, daughter of the late Annette Young (mom), Henry Young (Step-Father), Redell Ivey (Father), Joanne Stanley (mother-in-law) and Anthony (father-in-law), was born on October 28, 1975, in Robeson County, Lumberton, NC. She passed away on October 11, 2021.
She received her education in Robeson County at Magnolia Elementary and in Baltimore, MD at Hampstead Middle as well as Eastern Vo-Tech High School. After School she gained employment with Baltimore City School Systems and a security guard for Channel Fox45 News until relocating back to NC with husband and family (2008).
Amanda worked many jobs and numerous hustles to take care of her two daughters. In 2001 Amanda began working at Baltimore City School Systems as an administrative assistant for William Paca Elm.
After becoming disable in (2010) she enjoyed traveling, spending time with family and most of all taking care of her grandbabies.
She leaves to cherish her memories: husband, Jovon Johnson, 2 children, Quetta Daniels, Jazmine; five grand’s, Autumn, Tarjih, Tahirl, Jaycain, Artyic; sisters, Toshia, Margaret, Terry, Mary, Marggie; brothers, Bill, Redell Jr., Harley, Redell 3rd; step-brothers, Como, Bryant, Grover.
She had two nephews she treated like sons; Jardene (Jay) and Earl (pop-pop), along with a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
