Adam Clyde Mitterer, 39, rode home to the Lord on April 5th, 2025. He is survived by his father, Stanley Mitterer; mother, JoAnn Cummings and step-father, Eugene Cummings; Stephanie Waller, mother of 3 children, Ryland, Ryder, and Rye Ann. Also his son, Maverick Mitterer; sister, Ashley Warden (William); 2 nieces, Brielle, Lena; and 1 nephew, Dylan. Everyone Adam met he considered family.

He was preceded in passing by his grandparents, Walter and Joy Mitterer, Oscar and Faye Smith; uncles, Steven Mitterer and Oscar Smith Jr.

Adam was high spirited, high strung, and never met a stranger. He was a good mechanic by profession. He could fix anything and knew everything. His passion for 4 wheeling took him down many trails and other property in Skinquarter. He “lived to ride” wide open. Adam was a true free spirit who loved children and loved being a child at heart.

Visitation will be held from 6:00pm-8:00pm at Bliley’s Chippenham 6900 Hull Street Rd on April 9th, 2025. A service will be held the following day at Skinquarter Baptist Church at 11:00am April 10th, 2025. The family will receive friends at the church an hour prior to the service. A service will be held at Bear Swamp Baptist Church on April 12th, 2025 with interment to follow in Harper's Ferry cemetery.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that memorial contributions be made to Skinquarter Baptist Church or Bear Swamp Baptist Church.
