Wilbert Locklear, Jr.

Mr. Wilbert Locklear Jr, age 73, of 4967 Cabinet Shop RD Rowland, NC departed this life on Wednesday, September 13, 2017 at Carolina Medical Center, Charlotte, NC.

    He was born March 16, 1944 to the late Condary and Mildred Locklear. He was also preceded in death by a son, Brian Locklear; sister, Martha Chavis; grandson, Brandon Locklear; and son-in-law, Tony Deese.

   He is survived by his wife, Delois Locklear, of the home. four daughters: Patricia Deese (Simmie) of Maxton, NC, Samantha Hunt Angie Locklear and Ashley Locklear all of Rowland, NC. Four sons: Stoney Locklear (Kesha) of Maxton, NC, Reginald Locklear of Miami, FL, Richard Locklear and Jamie Locklear of Rowland, NC. A sister: Maggie Hammonds (Robbie) of Pembroke, NC. Two brothers: Willie Guy Locklear of Fairmont, NC and James Locklear (Deborah) of Rowland, NC. Twenty-six grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren, and a host of relatives and friends.
