Sybil Davis Obituary
Sybil Jean Davis 80, of 3127 Pine Log Rd. went to be with the Lord peacefully on June 21, 2018 surrounded by family.
Mrs. Davis is preceded in death by her husband of 38 years, Martin Luther Davis, Sr.; parents, Perry and Bertha McLamb; three brothers, Ed McLamb, Marvin McLamb and Carl McLamb; and two sisters, Christina Harvey and Beulah Bryant.
Beloved and cherished by her children, Shelia Smith (Elwood) of Calabash, NC Martin “Doc” Davis, Jr. (Vickie) of Lumberton, NC Perry Davis (Tiffany) of Fairmont, NC and Andy Davis (Denise) of Evergreen, NC; twelve grandchildren, Isabella Davis, Philip Davis, Mason Davis, Landon Davis, Sarah Wilcox, Macie Davis, Michael Davis, Mathieu Davis, Jimmy Smith, Crystal Smith, Autumn Jones and Shenandoah Jones; two brothers, Roy McLamb and Junior McLamb both of Lumberton, NC; four sister-in-laws, Betty McLamb, Barbara McLamb both of Lumberton, NC, Eloise Burns of Red Springs, NC and Martha Emmons of Rockfish, NC; one brother-in-law, Ben Davis of High Point, NC; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
She was the owner and operator of Sybils Restaurant for over 30 years.
