Queen Locklear Obituary
Mrs. Queen E. Locklear, 89 of 6265 Elrod Rd. Rowland, NC was born July 20, 1930 to the William R. and Perlie Lee Brayboy. She went to sleep in Jesus on August 19, 2019.
She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Gribby Locklear, Sr.; four sisters, Jeanette Monte, Maggie D. Locklear, Doris Daignault and Dorothy Gileeault; four brothers, Edward, Clyde, Donald and Charles Lee Brayboy; two infant grandchildren and three infant great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Queen is survived by six daughters, Patsy Bullard, Judy Locklear, Sherry Brewington, Ilene Haywood, Mary Jacobs and Julie Locklear-Jones (Timmy); two sons, Gribby Locklear, Jr. (Sammy) and William E. Locklear (Rosa); three sisters, Shirley Oxendine (Julious), Joyce Haywood and Paulann Dimery; three brothers, Robert Brayboy, Marvin Brayboy and Tommie Brayboy (Young Kae);twenty-four grandchildren; fifty-two great-grandchildren; thirty-three great-greatgrandchildren; and a host of relatives and friends.
