Mrs. Mildred Francies Burnette 84, of 4294 Saddletree Road, Lumberton was born April 24 1936, and departed this life on Monday Jan 20, 2020 at her home. She is preceded in death by her husband, Tom Burnette; her parents, Nancy Clark and Ira Green; her foster \grandparents, Jim and Aggie Jones; her foster parents, Kermit and Nancy Chavis; her sister, Margie Locklear; two foster sisters, Linda Emanuel, Flonnie Smith; three foster brothers, Barney Willard and James Jones.
Mrs. Mildred leaves to cherish her memories, four sons, Ronnie of Pembroke, Roosevelt Jr. (Sharon) of Menifee, CA. Billy of Olathe, KS, Larry of Lumber Bridge, NC; two daughters, Barbara of Lumber Bridge, NC and Kay (Ricky) Hammonds of Lumberton, NC; six foster brothers, Billy, Kermit Jr, James, Rural, Hulon and Bobby Chavis; one foster sister, Flora; two sisters, Margaret Reeves of St. Louis, Mo. and Vivian Locklear of Pembroke; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
A host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends and a host of special caregivers.
