Linda Faye Locklear

    Linda Bell Locklear, 71, of 62 Oakwood Heights Drive, Lumberton, departed this life on October 25, 2017 at Southeastern Regional Medical Center in Lumberton. She was born on February 6, 1946.

   She was preceded in death by her husband, Johnny Redell Locklear; her father, H. Hardie (Bill) Bell; her mother, Orpah Bell; and two brothers, Marcus Anthony Bell and Michael Bell.

   Ms. Linda leaves behind to cherish her memories, three sons, Adrian Carter (Carol) of Pembroke, Kim Carter (Tess) of the home and Chris Bell (Bonnie) of Chatham, New York; one daughter, Valery Carter (Randy) of Brooksville, Florida; two brothers, Harry Bell (Vickie) of Laurinburg and Jeffrey Bell (Pam) of Inman, South Carolina; four sisters, Sheila Locklear (Jackson), Virginia Emanuel (Gelyne), Jeanie Bell of Lumberton and Betty Hunt of Maxton; a sister-in-law, Adele Mitchell of Baltimore, Maryland; ten grandchildren; ten great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
