Lambert Welton Brewington

Lambert Welton Brewington, 82, departed to his external home surrounded by his family on October 15, 2017, at his home in Pembroke.

Funeral services will be conducted 3:00 p.m. Friday at Revels Funeral Home Chapel Pembroke. Burial will follow in Lumbee Memorial Gardens.

Lambert loved people and made it a priority to help them however he could. He enjoyed the outdoors and took pride in planting his garden each year for his family and friends making sure everyone had vegetables to last throughout the year.

Lambert, was born on September 5, 1935, to the late Lloyd and Mary Brewington of Clinton, NC. He is preceded in death by his brothers, Lacy Brewington, Fermon Brewington and Charles Brewington; sisters, Lorraine Maynard and Christine Brewington.

He is survived by his wife of 30 years Ann Sue Brewington; five daughters, Audrey Wrenn of Raleigh, NC, Roselle Neill of Lancaster, SC, Erika Brewington of Garland, NC, Jackie Kuhn and Iola Woodell both of Pembroke. He is also survived by three grandsons, Trevor Sampson, Stephen Taylor and Wesley Taylor; a granddaughter, Krystin Taylor Woodell; along with three great-grandsons, Ben, Wyatt and Cayden; and one sister, Joyce Brewington of Clinton, NC; along with many nieces and nephews.
