L. Cynthia Brooks Obituary
Ms. L. Cynthia Brooks was born January 19, 1930 and departed this life March 12, 2018 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Cynthia was a retired educator with PSRC and artist.
She is proceeded in death by her parents, Joseph Brooks and Sally M. Johnson Brooks; one brother, Sherman Brooks, one sister, Patricia Baker and one son, James Manning Caldwell.
Ms. Brooks is survived by one brother, Stephen (Tony) Brooks (Lois) of Virginia Beach, Va.; one sister-in-law, Deborah Brooks of Pembroke, NC; one son, Anthony (A.C.) Caldwell (Elizabeth) of Rockfish, NC; one daughter, Sherry Lynn Odom of the home; five grandsons, James Ward (Suzanne) of Jacksonville, FL; William Robinson (Shani) of Sneads Ferry, NC; Jordan Terry of Rockfish, NC, Manning Caldwell (Latisha) of St. Pauls, NC; and Paul Odom of Kincheloe, MI.; two granddaughters, Robin Hunt of Rockfish, NC and Cynthia Harden of Ahoskie, NC.; 14 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great granddaughter, a host of nieces and nephews; two very special friends, Ms. Alceon Jones and Ms. Joyce Williamson.
