Jimmy Wilson Hunt

Jimmy Wilson Hunt, 62 of Deep Branch Road, went to be with his Heavenly Father on September 14, 2017 after a long battle of illness.

   He is preceded in death by his son, Austin Chadwick Hunt, his mother Margaret Hunt Chavis, his brother Bobby Hunt and his nephew Shawn Lewis. 

   He is survived by his longtime companion of 39 years, Tammy Jones of the home. Three sons: Jamie B. Hunt, Jimmie "Jim Bob" Hunt of the home, and Michael Lowery of Maxton, NC. Five granddaughters: Jasmine Dial, Zaylee Hunt, Halie Hunt, Jacilyona Hunt, and Mavis Hunt. Three sisters: Elizabeth "Lib" (Rev. Willie) Jacobs of Lumberton, NC, Judy (Tommy) Lewis of Rowland, NC, and Cathy (James) Oxendine of Pembroke, NC; Three brothers: Billy (Vanessa) Hunt of Rowland, NC, Randy (Dora) Hunt of Ocean Isle, NC, and Michael(Lila) Hunt of Pembroke, NC. Also a friend more like a brother James "Junior" Locklear as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
