Jeremie L. McKenith was born Tuesday, October 9, 1979 to James McKenith and Willie Mae Walker McKenith in Lumberton, NC. His earthly journey ended Monday, January 21, 2019 at Southeastern Health in Lumberton, NC. He was preceded in death by his father and his brother, Nathaniel McKenith.
Jeremie attended the Public Schools of Robeson County and graduated from Lumberton High School in 1997. He enlisted in the US Navy and was medically discharged after a few months of service. He worked at Carolina Foods (Smithfield) and Denny’s Restaurant. Jeremie used skills he acquired from his father to do small jobs on the homes and vehicles of family and friends.

(Renee) McKenith of Parkton, NC, and James W. McKenith, Jr.; nine sisters, Margaret (James) Frierson, Veronica McKenith, and Doris Ford, all of Charlotte, NC, Carol McKenith and Betty Palmer of Raleigh, NC, Katrina (Ken) Hailey, Mildred (William) Grissett, Grace (Jose) Thompson, and Ronessa Hill, all of Lumberton, NC; his uncles, Maceo (Linda) Bostic of Lumberton, NC, Billy Ray Bostic of Pembroke, James Earl (Trina) Bostic of Fayetteville, NC, and Dwight (Shirley) Bostic of Charleston, SC; his aunts, Linda Sinclair and Brenda (Russell) Whitted, both of Lumberton, NC, and Patricia (Rico) Martinez of Red Springs, NC; his great uncle, Carl (Sadie) Thompson of Lumberton, NC; his great aunts, Corene (Paul) Bostick of Rockingham and Johnnie Mae Thompson of Lumberton, NC; a special niece, Stephanie McMillan, special cousins, Natasha Sinclair of Lumberton, NC and Amanda Bostic Finnie of Fayetteville, NC; special friends, Evangelist Denise Brown and Sherry Oxendine; and many cousins, other relatives and friends.
