Jeanette Hunt

Mrs. Jeanette Brewer Hunt, 87, of 811 Saddletree Road, Lumberton, NC was born to the late Steve Brewer and Maggie Locklear Brewer. She entered into her eternal rest on Monday, May 27, 2019, in the comfort of her home.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Hazley Hunt; three sisters, Clessie Jacobs, Gennive Hunt and Shirley Bell; two brothers, Cloyed Brewer and Robert Brewer, and one grandchild, Kerwin Garrett Hunt.

She is survived by three sons, William Gary Hunt of Lumberton, Ronald Hunt (Regina), and Lamond Hunt (Sara) of Fairmont; four daughters, Judy Hunt (Harold) of Fairmont, Janie H. Conn (Peter) of Charlotte, Rebecca H. Ward (Lawrence) of Lumberton, and Betty L. Hunt of the home; two brothers, Furman Brewer and Junior Brewer (Nancy); and two sisters, Zillie Locklear (Carson) and Mary Ellen Brooks; thirteen grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren, three great-great grandchildren, and a host of family and friends.

Mrs. Jeanette retired as a Teacher Assistant with the Public Schools of Robeson County in 1996. She was a long time member of New Bethel Holiness Methodist Church and served as the Sunday school secretary for more than 30 years
