Mr. James Lee Locklear, known by many as “Pig” of 169 Club House Drive, Pembroke, NC, born in Lumberton, NC, on September 26, 1947 was born into eternity on April 14, 2018.
Mr. Locklear was preceded in death by his parents Jessie James Locklear and Margie T. Locklear.
He leaves to cherish his memories his wife, Mary Francis Locklear of 169 Club House Drive, Pembroke, NC. One child Jessica Locklear of Greensboro, NC; three grandchildren Triston Dial, Leann Dial, and Jasmine Locklear; and two great grandchildren Aiden Hunt and Bradley Brayboy. Three brothers Clement Locklear, Bender Locklear, and Glenn Dale Locklear. Three sisters; Joyce Stewart, Patricia Chavis, and Sandra Locklear and a host of nephews, nieces and relatives and friends.
Mr. Locklear was an electrician for many years. He was always helping others any way he could. He was known well by many of the Pembroke and Red Springs Community. It wasn’t anything to see him sitting in Hardee’s in Pembroke eating and talking with everyone who came in. He will be remembered by his siblings and family as the talker who would call day or night for hours. That was his way of catching up with the family affairs. He was a great brother, father, husband, grandfather, and friend.
