James A Locklear

Mr. James Aurther Locklear was born September 15, 1940 and departed this life November 4, 2017 at Greenhaven Health and Rehabilitation Center in Greensboro, NC.

   He is preceded in death by his wife Kaleie Huggins Locklear; his parents, Wilson Locklear, Sr. and Myrtle Locklear Scott; two brothers, Willie D. Locklear and Glen Aster Locklear; one son, Shelton Locklear; one sister, Dorothy Hammonds; two great-grandchildren, Gora Grace Locklear and Ashley Miracle Locklear.

   Mr. Locklear is survived by his second wife, Wanda Locklear; one daughter, Mrs. Shelby Burnette (DeVane); one son, Mr. Delton Locklear; one step-daughter, Ms. Bonita Hunt all of Greensboro, NC; seven grandsons, Brandon Locklear (Brooke), Cody Rahenkamp (Amber), Roy Locklear all of Greensboro, NC, Jeromy Rahenkamp (Nicole) of Kernersville, NC, Shelton Locklear, Jr. of Charlotte, NC, Shane Locklear of Carthage, NC   and Delton Locklear (Diane); four granddaughters, Kalcie Bartley of High Point, NC, Della Locklear and Mira Locklear both of Pembroke, NC and Hannah Nicole Smith of Greensboro, NC; one brother, Mr. Wilson Locklear, Jr. (Judy) of Lumberton, NC; one sister, Tommie Jane Dial (Tony) of Pembroke, NC; three step-grandsons, John Earl Jacobs, Rex Allen Jacobs (Blair) and Willis Hunt (Alyssa) all of Greensboro, NC; eleven great-grandchildren; and a host of friends and loved ones.
