Grady Spears

     Grady dedicated his life to God at an early age and served as a member at Pleasant Grove Missionary Baptist Church in St. Pauls, NC for many years. Grady dedicated over twenty-years of employment at Converse, where he made numerous achievements. Grady loved to sing, especially with his brothers. He also loved chocolate cake and sweet potato pie. During Grady’s marriage to Tonja, two children were born, whom he adored.

     He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Torrence and Rosa Spears; five brothers, James, Torrence Jr., Sherman, Roy and Timothy Spears.

     Grady leaves to mourn two children, Shumar M. Spears of Jacksonville, FL and Shanay M. Spears of Hinesville, GA; two brothers, Larry (Peggy) Spears of Lumberton, NC and Fred (Gwendolyn) Spears of Paterson, NJ; one sister, Edith Berry (Roy) of Fairburn, GA; one grandchild, Zayden Spears and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
